Show Me the Money This is a hands on one-day(6 hour)workshop where participants will have the opportunity to craft the mission statement for their business or project. Additionally, each participant will craft the goals and objectives for a specified time period. Each participant will recieve three printed copies of materials to use in future mission and goal setting exercises as part of the workshop. (limited to 20 participants)
Building Your Budget One Line At A Time is a three day seminar (27 hours) where participants will go through every phase of budget development. The goal is to generate a draft operating budget by the end of day three. This includes:
- crafting your mission goals and objectives;
- setting your staffing and/or organizational structure;
- generating your personnel, non-personal services, materials and supplies, equipment and capital facilities maintenance budgets;
- categorizing revenues;
- creating an expenditure and revenue table; and
- special considerations if you contract out your services
- Each participant will receive a CD which contains the budget toolkit as part of the seminar.
Getting Through The Numbers is a five day (45 hours) seminar where participants will not only develop a draft operating budget but will spend the final day and a half refining that operating budget into a final plan. In the five day seminar you will:
- Develop your Mission Statement;
- Set Goals and Identify Objectives;
- Find the right Organizational Structure;
- Categorize Expenditures;
- Segregate and Categorize Revenues;
- Reallocate Expenditures in order to maximize profits;
- Set up a Basic Profit & Loss (P&L) Statement;
- Discuss Cost Allocation Plans (CAPs); and
- Go over the special considerations for those who will do business with government entities or receive governmental grants as a source of revenue
As in the three day seminar, each participant will also receive a CD that contains the budget toolkit.
